For many years Chesley Lake has been a popular spot for cottagers to get away and relax. The lake is located just north of Highway 21 in the
Town of South Bruce Peninsula. The lake has a long standing reputation for good fishing and is home to several species including Pickerel, Pike and Bass, and is popular for fishing year round. The
Chesley Lake Cottage Association has done extensive work over the past 50 years to improve the health of the lake by education cottagers about fertilizer use and improving septic systems.
Chesley Lake Camp located on the north west side of the lake has been a big part of many families living around the lake. The Camp has many family friendly activates planned throughout the summer. There are 2 public golf courses at the camp a 9 hole Par 4 course that is fun for beginners but also will challenge an experienced golfer. The Par 3 course offers a great opportunity for younger children to learn how to golf or for someone to work on their short game.
