Only 1 week until Christmas Day. What have you left to do?I have my shopping done. Gifts are bought and things are ready for the special day.
The only thing left is a trip to the grocery store.
This year's celebrations will not include many of our annual traditions.
We will miss our scheduled 2nd annual Gift Exchange around a cozy fire with wonderful friends.
We will miss Elf on the Shelf, Karaoke and "Larry Sandwiches" at the Tara Curling Club.
We will miss hosting a garage party for some of our friends, who are more like family.
We will miss our children's friends coming and going throughout the week.
We will miss our annual visit with friends and family Christmas Eve.
We will miss the music, the comradery, and the feeling of togetherness that the Holiday Season brings.
We look forward to quiet time at home with family.
We look forward to new traditions at home.
We look forward to baking our favourite recipes.
We look forward to phone calls and messages.
We look forward to Hallmark Christmas movies (well at least I do).
